Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, was born of a virgin named Mary, performed miracles, founded the Christian Church, died by crucifixion as a sacrifice to achieve atonement for sin, rose from the dead, and ascended into Heaven, from where he will return again to rules the world at the end times.

Jesus birth was prophesied long time ago by prophet Isaiah in Old Testament.

Jesus crucifixion on the cross was prophesied in Psalm 22:16-18 Dogs surround me, a pack of villains encircles me; they pierce my hands and my feet. 17 All my bones are on display; people stare and gloat over me. 18 They divide my clothes among them and cast lots for my garment.

Jesus resurrection was prophesied in Hosea 6:1-2 ““Come, let us return to the Lord. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds. John 1:1-5 confirmed Jesus is the Son of God as one of the Trinity God… “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” John‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬-‭5‬ ‭NIV‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/111/jhn.1.1-5.NIV

In this verse the Word represents Jesus. John, one of his disciples who walked with him wrote that. Jesus was there from the beginning before humans were even there with the father God. All things visible and invisible were created for Jesus by Jesus and through Jesus and He sustains everything.

Colossians 1:16-18 “For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. Back to Genesis where God created man in Genesis1:26-27 “Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” Genesis‬ ‭1‬:‭26‬-‭27‬ ‭NIV‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/111/gen.1.26-27.NIV

God created angels first and then human beings. Some of the angels got hold of pride of Satan and rebelled against God. Satan wanted to be like God. 

Jesus himself witnessed Satan’s fall to earth. In Luke 10:18 Jesus replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.” Luke‬ ‭10‬:‭18‬ ‭NIV‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/111/luk.10.18.NIV

Then Satan, pretending as a serpent went to earth to deceive Eve the first female human being. She then caused Adam to sin as well. This is called the fall of mankind.

Genesis 3:13 “Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”” Genesis‬ ‭3‬:‭13‬ ‭NIV‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/111/gen.3.13.

God is a god of love and He used to have a relationship with the first human beings. He even walked among them but after they sinned they tried to hide from Him. 

Genesis 3:8 “Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden.” Genesis‬ ‭3‬:‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/111/gen.3.8.NIV

After sin and the fall of mankind the world changed and we are all born from Adam and Eve. We’re born in sin and spiritually dead.

Roman 5:12 “Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—” Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭12‬ ‭NIV‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/111/rom.5.12.NIV

All human beings are separated from God because of our sinful condition.

Remember God is holy he is perfect pure and clean he is light where there is no darkness. He can not have relationships with us who are born in sin.

And John said in 1 John 1:5 “This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.” 1 John‬ ‭1‬:‭5‬ ‭NIV‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/111/1jn.1.5.NIV

So God Almighty created a redemption plan for us because He loves us and He wants to bring us back into a loving relationship with him where we can again worship him in spirit and in truth. 

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/111/jhn.3.16.NIV

“For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.” John‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬-‭18‬ ‭NIV‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/111/jhn.3.17-18.NIV

We need to understand the importance of the redemption plan of God because He can’t have relationships with us due to our sins. Even our best deeds can not save us. The only way to be saved is to believe in Jesus Christ who took away our sins on the cross. 

2 Corinthians 5:21 “For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭21‬ ‭ESV‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/59/2co.5.21.ESV

This was his plan thousands of years before Jesus even came to earth. 

We can read about all the prophecies about the messiah that would come and that is Jesus Christ. These prophecies are fulfilled in the New Testament, for example 

Isaiah 9:6 “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah‬ ‭9‬:‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/111/isa.9.6.NIV

Daniel‬ ‭7‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭NIV‬‬ “In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.” https://bible.com/bible/111/dan.7.13-14.NIV

The bible is the only book with so many prophesies that came true. No other religious book can even compare with it. That’s why it is the number one best seller in the world at all times.

It also prophesied that Jesus the messiah would come from the nation of Israel. That’s why the whole book of old testament is about the nation of Israel and Jesus. That’s why we see why the devil tried to stop the nation of Israel so many times because he wanted to stop the birth of the messiah.

Micah 5:2 “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.”

The bible also prophesied that Jesus the messiah would stop the work of Satan. That’s why the Satan works so hard to stop the birth of Jesus. But Jesus was born and he stopped the devil.
Do you remember the part when Jesus went into the wilderness? He spent 40 days and 40 nights fasting and the devil tried to tempt him without success. The devil couldn’t stop God’s redemption plan. Jesus knew his purpose why he came into the world.

Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”

This old ancient prophesy was fulfilled when Jesus Christ died on the cross breaking the hole that sin has over us.

1 John 3:8 Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.

We need to understand that the physical world that we live in. It’s not all the truth there is. There is a spiritual world. In this physical world it influences the physical. The spiritual world is more real than the physical world because the physical world doesn’t show all the truth your eyes can not see.

Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

We have been separated from God when we are born but we need to be spiritually reborn since Christ has already overcome the devil 2000 years ago when he resurrected from death. All we need to do to be reborn is to accept what Jesus did on the cross for us when he took the punishment of our sin.

True faith is trust in Jesus Christ. We need to trust in Jesus that He has our back, like when we jumped out of the plane with parachute. We need to trust the parachute that will save our life. That is the same as the car seat belt that will save our life if we put on seat belt. In a car crash we may be thrown out of window but the seat belt we trust that we will be saved.

So we need to trust in Jesus Christ because He took our sins on the cross. If we believe that, we will become a child of God and God will give us his spirit inside of us and we will be reborn with a new creation. Then we can see the spiritual world better and we start to live in the spirit through the spirit. We don’t just live by what we see with our physical eyes but with spiritual eyes. God Almighty gives us new spiritual life.

Ezekiel 36:26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. 28 Then you will live in the land I gave your ancestors; you will be my people, and I will be your God.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God and we just need to put our trust in Him. He said He and his father God are one.

John 10:28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.”

Ephesians 1:13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

1 John 5:12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

When the devil walks around like a roaring lion seeking to devour someone. But we are saved by Jesus Christ. We are already declared righteous by God the father because our sins have already paid by Jesus Christ when He dies on the cross.

1 John 5:18 We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them. 19 We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. 20 We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

We need to understand that Jesus Christ is the only way to eternal life. He is the only mediator between us humankind and God. There is no one else under heaven who can save you. Not your parents, not your family, not Buddha, not Muhammad, not spiritual force in the air. Nothing and no one except Jesus Christ.

John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”

1 Timothy 2:3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time.

We need to understand that Jesus Christ is God. When He was on earth He wasn’t just 100% human, He was also 100% God both at the same time. Jesus Christ is the Son and He is God. The Father is God. And the Holy Spirit is God. All three of them is One being. Although this is hard for us to understand, it is the truth. God is far above what we can even try to imagine with our small brains. We are created beings and that is why it is hard for us to understand. Jesus himself is God.

John 10:30 I and the Father are one.”

John 8:58 “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”

What a powerful statement from Jesus Christ himself about who He is.

Exodus 3:14 God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ”

The disciple Thomas also called Jesus “God”.

John 20:28 Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”

God the father called Jesus God as well.

Hebrew 1:8 But about the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.

Even in the old testament, the messiah is called God.

Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

In Islam they just called Jesus a prophet. A lot of people say today “I like Jesus because he is a great man”, “He is a great teacher”.

If Jesus is not God, he would either be a lunatic talking about crazy things or he would be God we need to listen to. We either need to believe he spits out lies or he speaks the truth. There is no middle man that he was a great teacher. People are very willing to accept Jesus as a moral teacher but not as God. A mere man who said what Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic or he is what he said. We must make a choice either this man is the son of God or else a mad man. There is no middle ground standing and saying this man is a great moral teacher.

In conclusion, Jesus Christ is God. He is a God of love who came to earth to save us from our sins so that we have close relationship with Him.
John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. 11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

He loves us with unconditional love. He can not have relationship with sin, with someone who has sin because He is holy and has no sin. He still loves us reaching out his hand because he wants you to come to him. Even though you are spiritually dead, He wants to give you spiritual life; He wants you to repent of their sins and to accept him as Lord and Savior.

Roman 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Jesus did not come to save those who think they are already perfect. He came to save sinners.

I was used to be among the sinners; the worse sinner, arrogant, living according to my flesh, drinking, treating people bad, etc. Jesus came for people like me.

Mark 2:17 On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Now if you are a sinner, don’t you think it is time to reach out to Jesus before it is too late?
Every day we are still breathing. Even the fact that we are breathing, that comes from God who is sustaining all lives and giving us a time period. We won’t know when that time period will end. If we die today where will you go? We can only go to heaven through Jesus Christ and you can have eternal life and spiritual reborn only if you accept Him as your Lord and savior.

James 4:8 Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

We might say we are not a bad person. We need to understand that God is Holy. We broke one law we broke all of them. You can not with good deeds prove to God that you are good because God is so holy that even your good deeds are like filthy rags for him. It doesn’t work in the courtroom that way. If you go to court and you murder someone, you stole something, the judge says I will put you in jail. But then you argued I have done a lot of good things. But that doesn’t matter. It doesn’t take your deeds to pay for what you sinned. You still did it. A righteous judge will still deal out the punishment.

That is why Jesus came to take all our punishment and penalties. He died in our place and paid for our sins.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. 11 He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. 12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

His entire family joined him in Egypt, as did many of the rest of the Israelites. There they prospered and multiplied for many generations.

God then told Moses that, as proof of God’s power, the Egyptians would suffer a series of plagues until Pharaoh agreed to let the Jews go:

Christmas miracle is the story of a child that was born to a virgin named Mary. Jesus was born to the virgin Mary contrary to the law of nature.

As a child, Jesus lived in poverty and raised in obscurity. He did not travel extensively; only once he leaves the country in which he was born when during his childhood, he ran for his life into Egypt to escape King Herod’s plan of killing two years old and younger.

He possessed neither wealth nor influence. His relatives were inconspicuous, uninfluential, and had neither training nor formal education.

In infancy he starts over-teen.

In childhood, he starts over-puzzle over the doctors.

In manhood he ruled the course of nature. He walked upon the billows of the sea of Galilee as if they were tamers. He spoke and the waves were still. He silenced the raging sea with three simple words “Peace, be still!”.

He healed the multitudes without medicines and made no charge for his service.

He never wrote a book but he had all the libraries of the world that can not hold the books that have been written about him to explain his glorious life.

He never wrote a song and yet he furnished the theme for more songs that all the song writers have ever written combined.

He never founded a college yet all the schools put together can not boast having as many students as this man.

He never practiced medicine and yet he had healed the most broken hearts than all the doctors far and near.

He never marshaled an army nor drafted a soldier nor fired a gun and yet millions have followed him with peace that surpass all understanding.

Every Sabbath day the wheels of comers seekers turning, multitudes find their place to a place of worship to bow their knees before the Lord Jesus Christ.

The names of past proud states of Greece and Rome has come and gone, but the name of this man abounds more and more.

Through times, we have passed two thousands years between our generations and the scene of his crucifixion and yet he lives with power and great glory.

Let’s read Math 1:18-21

18 This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit.

19 Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law, and yet did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.

20 But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.

21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”

Christmas is a celebration of a child.

Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

From the above scripture, let us focus on his name. His name is above every name by virtue of his accomplishment.

All high sounding titles which earthly commanders has given themselves historicly were given to gratify their vanity and their ego.

Alexander The Great is the high sounding title for a man who died at age 32 with unknown decease. He was not great because he could not comfort himself.

Herod The Great is a lofty title for a man who murdered many wives and his children. On the day he died, he ordered his kingdom to execute his oldest son so that Israel has a reason to mourn. Israel hates the Herod because he was like a monster with a lofty title but he was a cold-blooded killer. The day he screamed for mercy in the fire of hell, Is Herod The Great? Obviously not.

There is one man who walks across the stage of human history whose greatness is greater than the human tongue can tell. He is the Great I Am; He is the Great Physician; He is the Great Shepard who guides and provides.

Never in the human history there was a child that was born of a living God from the womb of a virgin; but Jesus was.

Never in the human history there was a man who was wounded by Satan and yet he crushed Satan at the cross; but Jesus did.

Never in the human history there was a savior of men and yet he was crucified by men; but Jesus was.

Never there was a man who died and buried and yet rose again on the third day as he said he would; but Jesus did.

The tomb of Abraham is in Israel and he is still there. The tomb of King David is in Israel and he is still there. But the tomb of Jesus Christ in Israel is empty; he is NOT there. The tomb of Jesus Christ is the only tourist attraction where people lining up to see nothing.

The greatest question of your life in this Christmas season is not what on your tree but do you know Jesus Christ the savior who died on the cursive tree for your salvation and for mine.

Have you accept him as savior Lord? Do you serve him? The Bible says “Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and the glory of God”.

Jesus is here right now. His name “Emanuel” means “God is with Us”. He is calling your name. He can save you. There is no one else that can save you. He can heal you because he is the great physician. He will deliver you. The King rules! He lives! He is coming again with great power, glory, honor and power to the name of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah Amen!

Reminder For September 2022

September is the arrival of Jewish New Year called Rosh Hashanah (Sep 25-27) or Feast of Trumpets that brings a great opportunity to renew our faith and love for God and Jesus. It’s also a wonderful time to renew the joy of salvation in our hearts, as a new creation in Christ. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Here are the feasts of the Jewish calendar and their associated prophetic fulfillment:

Passover – Christ’s sacrificial death on the cross

Unleavened Bread – Christ’s blood atonement at the altar

First Fruits – Christ’s resurrection from the dead

Pentecost – Writing the Law on the hearts of believers (the Holy Spirit indwelling the Church)

Feast of Trumpets – The rapture of the Church

Day of Atonement – The seven-year Tribulation

Feast of Tabernacles – The arrival of the Kingdom

The first four of these feasts (i.e., Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, and Pentecost) saw their prophetic fulfillment in Christ’s first coming. In each case, these feasts were fulfilled on the actual calendar day of the feast, so Jesus died on Passover, He was resurrected on the Firstfruits, the Spirit came on the day of Pentecost, etc.

The last 3 have not been fulfilled. The next prophetic event, the feast of Trumpets, will kick off end time events with the rapture. John 7:37-38

2023 Passover Celebration 逾越节庆典 (复活节)

They hurriedly packed and left Egypt, without enough time for their bread to rise (hence the holiday’s prohibition on eating leavened, or risen, grain products, and the custom of eating matzah).

Christmas miracle is the story of a child that was born to a virgin named Mary. Jesus was born to the virgin Mary contrary to the law of nature.

As a child, Jesus lived in poverty and raised in obscurity. He did not travel extensively; only once he leaves the country in which he was born when during his childhood, he ran for his life into Egypt to escape King Herod’s plan of killing two years old and younger.

He possessed neither wealth nor influence. His relatives were inconspicuous, uninfluential, and had neither training nor formal education.

In infancy he starts over-teen.

In childhood, he starts over-puzzle over the doctors.

In manhood he ruled the course of nature. He walked upon the billows of the sea of Galilee as if they were tamers. He spoke and the waves were still. He silenced the raging sea with three simple words “Peace, be still!”.

He healed the multitudes without medicines and made no charge for his service.

He never wrote a book but he had all the libraries of the world that can not hold the books that have been written about him to explain his glorious life.

He never wrote a song and yet he furnished the theme for more songs that all the song writers have ever written combined.

He never founded a college yet all the schools put together can not boast having as many students as this man.

He never practiced medicine and yet he had healed the most broken hearts than all the doctors far and near.

He never marshaled an army nor drafted a soldier nor fired a gun and yet millions have followed him with peace that surpass all understanding.

Every Sabbath day the wheels of comers seekers turning, multitudes find their place to a place of worship to bow their knees before the Lord Jesus Christ.

The names of past proud states of Greece and Rome has come and gone, but the name of this man abounds more and more.

Through times, we have passed two thousands years between our generations and the scene of his crucifixion and yet he lives with power and great glory.

Let’s read Math 1:18-21

18 This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit.

19 Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law, and yet did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.

20 But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.

21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”

Christmas is a celebration of a child.

Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

From the above scripture, let us focus on his name. His name is above every name by virtue of his accomplishment.

All high sounding titles which earthly commanders has given themselves historicly were given to gratify their vanity and their ego.

Alexander The Great is the high sounding title for a man who died at age 32 with unknown decease. He was not great because he could not comfort himself.

Herod The Great is a lofty title for a man who murdered many wives and his children. On the day he died, he ordered his kingdom to execute his oldest son so that Israel has a reason to mourn. Israel hates the Herod because he was like a monster with a lofty title but he was a cold-blooded killer. The day he screamed for mercy in the fire of hell, Is Herod The Great? Obviously not.

There is one man who walks across the stage of human history whose greatness is greater than the human tongue can tell. He is the Great I Am; He is the Great Physician; He is the Great Shepard who guides and provides.

Never in the human history there was a child that was born of a living God from the womb of a virgin; but Jesus was.

Never in the human history there was a man who was wounded by Satan and yet he crushed Satan at the cross; but Jesus did.

Never in the human history there was a savior of men and yet he was crucified by men; but Jesus was.

Never there was a man who died and buried and yet rose again on the third day as he said he would; but Jesus did.

The tomb of Abraham is in Israel and he is still there. The tomb of King David is in Israel and he is still there. But the tomb of Jesus Christ in Israel is empty; he is NOT there. The tomb of Jesus Christ is the only tourist attraction where people lining up to see nothing.

The greatest question of your life in this Christmas season is not what on your tree but do you know Jesus Christ the savior who died on the cursive tree for your salvation and for mine.

Have you accept him as savior Lord? Do you serve him? The Bible says “Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and the glory of God”.

Jesus is here right now. His name “Emanuel” means “God is with Us”. He is calling your name. He can save you. There is no one else that can save you. He can heal you because he is the great physician. He will deliver you. The King rules! He lives! He is coming again with great power, glory, honor and power to the name of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah Amen!

Reminder For September 2022

September is the arrival of Jewish New Year called Rosh Hashanah (Sep 25-27) or Feast of Trumpets that brings a great opportunity to renew our faith and love for God and Jesus. It’s also a wonderful time to renew the joy of salvation in our hearts, as a new creation in Christ. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Here are the feasts of the Jewish calendar and their associated prophetic fulfillment:

Passover – Christ’s sacrificial death on the cross

Unleavened Bread – Christ’s blood atonement at the altar

First Fruits – Christ’s resurrection from the dead

Pentecost – Writing the Law on the hearts of believers (the Holy Spirit indwelling the Church)

Feast of Trumpets – The rapture of the Church

Day of Atonement – The seven-year Tribulation

Feast of Tabernacles – The arrival of the Kingdom

The first four of these feasts (i.e., Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, and Pentecost) saw their prophetic fulfillment in Christ’s first coming. In each case, these feasts were fulfilled on the actual calendar day of the feast, so Jesus died on Passover, He was resurrected on the Firstfruits, the Spirit came on the day of Pentecost, etc.

The last 3 have not been fulfilled. The next prophetic event, the feast of Trumpets, will kick off end time events with the rapture. John 7:37-38

Christmas miracle is the story of a child that was born to a virgin named Mary. Jesus was born to the virgin Mary contrary to the law of nature.

As a child, Jesus lived in poverty and raised in obscurity. He did not travel extensively; only once he leaves the country in which he was born when during his childhood, he ran for his life into Egypt to escape King Herod’s plan of killing two years old and younger.

He possessed neither wealth nor influence. His relatives were inconspicuous, uninfluential, and had neither training nor formal education.

In infancy he starts over-teen.

In childhood, he starts over-puzzle over the doctors.

In manhood he ruled the course of nature. He walked upon the billows of the sea of Galilee as if they were tamers. He spoke and the waves were still. He silenced the raging sea with three simple words “Peace, be still!”.

He healed the multitudes without medicines and made no charge for his service.

He never wrote a book but he had all the libraries of the world that can not hold the books that have been written about him to explain his glorious life.

He never wrote a song and yet he furnished the theme for more songs that all the song writers have ever written combined.

He never founded a college yet all the schools put together can not boast having as many students as this man.

He never practiced medicine and yet he had healed the most broken hearts than all the doctors far and near.

He never marshaled an army nor drafted a soldier nor fired a gun and yet millions have followed him with peace that surpass all understanding.

Every Sabbath day the wheels of comers seekers turning, multitudes find their place to a place of worship to bow their knees before the Lord Jesus Christ.

The names of past proud states of Greece and Rome has come and gone, but the name of this man abounds more and more.

Through times, we have passed two thousands years between our generations and the scene of his crucifixion and yet he lives with power and great glory.

Let’s read Math 1:18-21

18 This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit.

19 Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law, and yet did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.

20 But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.

21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”

Christmas is a celebration of a child.

Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

From the above scripture, let us focus on his name. His name is above every name by virtue of his accomplishment.

All high sounding titles which earthly commanders has given themselves historicly were given to gratify their vanity and their ego.

Alexander The Great is the high sounding title for a man who died at age 32 with unknown decease. He was not great because he could not comfort himself.

Herod The Great is a lofty title for a man who murdered many wives and his children. On the day he died, he ordered his kingdom to execute his oldest son so that Israel has a reason to mourn. Israel hates the Herod because he was like a monster with a lofty title but he was a cold-blooded killer. The day he screamed for mercy in the fire of hell, Is Herod The Great? Obviously not.

There is one man who walks across the stage of human history whose greatness is greater than the human tongue can tell. He is the Great I Am; He is the Great Physician; He is the Great Shepard who guides and provides.

Never in the human history there was a child that was born of a living God from the womb of a virgin; but Jesus was.

Never in the human history there was a man who was wounded by Satan and yet he crushed Satan at the cross; but Jesus did.

Never in the human history there was a savior of men and yet he was crucified by men; but Jesus was.

Never there was a man who died and buried and yet rose again on the third day as he said he would; but Jesus did.

The tomb of Abraham is in Israel and he is still there. The tomb of King David is in Israel and he is still there. But the tomb of Jesus Christ in Israel is empty; he is NOT there. The tomb of Jesus Christ is the only tourist attraction where people lining up to see nothing.

The greatest question of your life in this Christmas season is not what on your tree but do you know Jesus Christ the savior who died on the cursive tree for your salvation and for mine.

Have you accept him as savior Lord? Do you serve him? The Bible says “Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and the glory of God”.

Jesus is here right now. His name “Emanuel” means “God is with Us”. He is calling your name. He can save you. There is no one else that can save you. He can heal you because he is the great physician. He will deliver you. The King rules! He lives! He is coming again with great power, glory, honor and power to the name of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah Amen!

Today, He is proclaimed of God, acknowledged by angels, and adored by saints. He is our joy, our hope, and our eternal salvation. Have you accept him as savior Lord? Do you serve him? September is the arrival of Jewish New Year called Rosh Hashanah (Sep 25-27) or Feast of Trumpets that brings a great opportunity to renew our faith and love for God and Jesus. It’s also a wonderful time to renew the joy of salvation in our hearts, as a new creation in Christ. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Here are the feasts of the Jewish calendar and their associated prophetic fulfillment:

• Passover – Christ’s sacrificial death on the cross
• Unleavened Bread – Christ’s blood atonement at the altar
• First Fruits – Christ’s resurrection from the dead
• Pentecost – Writing the Law on the hearts of believers (the Holy Spirit indwelling the Church)
• Feast of Trumpets – The rapture of the Church
• Day of Atonement – The seven-year Tribulation
• Feast of Tabernacles – The arrival of the Kingdom

The first four of these feasts (i.e., Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, and Pentecost) saw their prophetic fulfillment in Christ’s first coming. In each case, these feasts were fulfilled on the actual calendar day of the feast, so Jesus died on Passover, He was resurrected on the Firstfruits, the Spirit came on the day of Pentecost, etc.

The last 3 have not been fulfilled. The next prophetic event, the feast of Trumpets, will kick off end time events with the rapture. John 7:37-38

Spring is almost here! Of course with the coming of spring are many exciting new developments at our church.

• First of all, effective today (April 1st), wearing a mask indoors will not be mandated. However, in light of up-trending cases locally and globally, indoor mask-wearing is still strongly encouraged by our Medical Advisory Team. In addition, indoor mask-wearing will be required for:
  • Unvaccinated individuals ages 2 years and older
  • Individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 should stay home for the first 5 days and wear a mask until 10 days after the positive testing date. 
  • People who have weakened immune systems or are at high risk of developing severe complications from COVID-19. Please refer to the CDC website for more information. 
• Food can be consumed indoors in small groups without a distancing requirement.
  • We will continue to pause churchwide lunch and meals.
  • We will continue to pause snack-time for Mustard Seeds except for those who are there for two sessions.
• As before, please refrain from attending in-person activities at CBCGB if they are symptomatic.

The arrival of Spring brings a great opportunity to renew our faith and love for God and Jesus. It’s also a wonderful time to renew the joy of salvation in our hearts, as a new creation in Christ. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The arrival of a new year brings a great opportunity to renew our faith and love for God and Jesus. It’s also a wonderful time to renew the joy of salvation in our hearts, as a new creation in Christ. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. Today reminds us the darkest day in American history twenty years ago and we take time to remember the people and events of September 11, 2001. We honor those whose lives were taken. We grieve with the families who lost loved ones. And we thank those who sacrificially gave to help those in distress and restore a hopeful spirit.

While we cannot fully comprehend why these terrible events happened, we can place our trust in God and know that He is always in control. Not only does He rule the earth with power and strength, He gently walks beside us each day assuring us that He is with us.

Please join us in prayer as we remember the significance of this day as well as ask for peace and unity in Jesus’ name.

天父上帝，今天我们乒乓福音团契在这里向您献上祷告: 我们都是亏欠了您的荣耀的罪人，恳请您赦免我们的罪，恳求您医治、洁净我们所在的国家，医治洁净这个世界，赐给我们平安、健康、喜乐，使我们在困难中有平安，有盼望。以上祷告是以我主耶稣基督的名义。阿门。
